alejandra jackson
Jermaine filed for divorce from Alejandra Jackson in 2004. They fought hard over child support. According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Jermaine pressured Alejandra to live with the couple's two children -- Jaafar and Jermajesty -- in the Jackson family home in Encino. Alejandra claimed in the docs Jermaine wanted her to live in his mom's home so he didn't have to pay her supportIn legal docs filed last year, Alejandra complained most of the support money she received was from Katherine, frequently in the form of gift cards from Ralphs supermarket -- the very same place Jaafar bought a credit card so he could purchase the stun gun online.
Alejandra has been living in Katherine's home, along with Jaafar and Jermajesty, Genevieve and Randall -- the latter two kids were born during Alejandra's marriage to Randy Jackson, Jermaine's brother. Another minor, Dante, is living in the home -- a child the Jackson's essentially adopted. Add to that Michael Jackson's three kids, Prince, Paris and Blanket and 79-year-old Katherine is juggling responsibilities for 8 children.
Turns out 26 bathrooms and 12 bedrooms came in handy. Who knew?

dj tracy young
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak is either a lesbian dating a female DJ named Tracy, or she is still with her (married) boyfriend Big Papa. Us Weekly reports the divorced mom-of-two is gay and that she and Tracy Young stepped out together Saturday night in Miami and reportedly told some other party-goer “We’re really happy!”
The two met when Tracy did a remix of Kim’s song “Tardy for the Party.” A source tells Us, “Tracy broke up with her longtime girlfriend to be with Kim. Since they’ve been together, Tracy lost a lot of weight and got really skinny for Kim. They seem to be beyond happy with each other.”
Real Housewives of New York husband Simon van Kempen basically dropped the news last week to Us, telling the mag, “The rumor is that Kim Zolciak will come out this season.”Meanwhile, Kim tweeted two things. According to one tweet, her date Saturday night was her daughter Brielle, 13.In another tweet today she wrote:
“WOW…who the hell is Simon van Kempen? Talking abt me in US weekly. Give me a break…Get ur facts straights, Never met that man in my life”Plus, just last week Zolciak just told a radio station that she and on-off boyfriend, ex-fiance and the still-married Big Papa are still going strong. “I’m with Big Papa,” Zolciak told Atlanta radio station Q100’s The Bert Show — albeit timidly. She also said he could still make an appearance on the show.

hawk panther
Hawk Panther: latest news about updates in Hawk Panther ,hawkpanther, les singer, bloom box wikipedia, bloom energywikipedia, marianne baronin brandstetter, I see that a couple of posts have no comments on them and I kind of wondered why? I reasoned that I said nothing that anyone felt was worth commenting on, which is fair enough. Comments really inspire me to write more, so I thought about what to do? What I thought is that rather than just post pictures of my mechs, sans pretty much anything, I would add some comments and fluff, which will hopefully generate more comments.
My favourite Battletech mechs come mostly from the anime show Fang of the Sun Dougram, known in Japan as Taiyō no Kiba Daguramu. This is one of three shows that FASA used the mechs from for their Battledroids game, which due to Lucas Films owning the word “droid” was renamed Battletech. The other two shows were Crusher Joe, known as Kurasshā Jō where the Locust battlemech and Galleon light tank designs came from, and the series Super Dimensional Fortress Macross known in Japan as Chō Jikū Yōsai Makurosu, which actually translates as Super Spacetime Fortress Macross, which is of course the show that was the basis for the TV series Robotech by Harmony Gold.
My other favourite mechs being the Destroids that became know as the Rifleman, Archer, Warhammer and Longbow, plus the Valkyrie’s that became the basis for the Wasp, Stinger, Phoenix Hawk and Crusader. Other designs were used, or based upon Macross designs, including the Marauder, along with the Ostall series, name from Crusher Joe; the image being an interpretation of the Zentradi battle pods. All of this being old news to OSR fans like myself.
Here is the first Company of the Pink Panther Battalion. Looks like a standard 12 mech lance, but in fact is organised into two 5 mech lances and a command element of 2 mechs. The mech front and centre left in this photo is a custom modified Griffin that was turned into a representation of Fang of the Sun Dougram Bushman mech. Though it is a little too large in actual fact. However, I do have a couple of Gashapon Bushmen that I intend to use in my recon lances at some point. So this mech will be re-imagined as a Griffin command variant.
Here is my Alpha lance. It has all my favourites mechs in it from the show Fang of the Sun Dougram. The Battlemaster at the back of the pictures, which was known in the show as the Soltic HT-128 “Bigfoot”. This is an original “unseen” model with no particular modifications made to it, and was originally painted up in the late 80s, so it is 20 years old. I intend to refurbish the aerials at some point on all my old models, as at the time I used piano wire, but want to use finer guitar string, as it will look better.
I also have a whole bunch of custom Pink Panther unit decals from Fighting Pirranha Graphics to add as well. In the centre of the picture is my first Thunderbolt, which was known as the Hasty F4X “Ironfoot”. This has been modified with a PPC on its right arm, and I’ve replaced the rather wimpy rocket launcher that came with the model with something more substantial, to make it look closer to the original design. The Griffin, known as Soltic H8 “Roundfacer”, is a newly modified model that has been turned into the 24th Battalion Custom”Korchima Special” from the show. The Shadow Hawk, known as the “Dougram” that the show is named after, has only had a minor alteration to it, which was to make the over the shoulder cannon rotate on a bearing.
Originally I just used a pin through the casting, but after 20 years this was showing signs of failure, so I rebuilt the joint using brass bearings. Finally, the Wolverine, known as Abitate T-10C “Blockhead”, is another newly made model that has been reposed, and it has had the main weapon replaced with a spare casting given to me by Glenn Wallbridge, a friend of mine who use to make model masters for casting for firms like Akhenaton Models.

plane crash austin
SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- A small airplane crashed into an office building in Austin, Texas which reportedly housed an Internal Revenue Service office, according to media reports Thursday. However, Austin officials said the crash is not terror related.
So far, two people have been sent to the hospital and one person is unaccounted for, the authorities said. They declined to comment on the pilot. But the Wall Street Journal reported that a Texan named Joseph Stack made an Internet posting that indicated that he was responsible for the crash
Federal law enforcement officials have said they were investigating whether the pilot crashed on purpose in an effort to blow up IRS offices. The Web site featured a long note dated Thursday denouncing the government and the IRS in particular and cited the Austin man's problems with the agency.
All the officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is continuing.

palo alto plane crash
Businesses in Palo Alto were brought almost to a standstill today in the wake of the East Palo Alto plane crash that knocked out power to the city.
The Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and Stanford Hospital were operating on emergency power. Schools were operating in the dark, traffic lights were out and many retail businesses were closed.
At the Stanford hospitals, operations that were in progress will continue, but nonemergency cases are on hold until further notice, according to an e-mail from Stanford spokesman Gary Migdol.
The emergency departments are open only for the most urgent cases. Clinic appointments at the main Stanford camps are canceled.
PG&E spokesman Joe Molica said the plane crash affected three transmission lines that serve Palo Alto. Power is expected to be restored between 4:30 and 5 p.m.
Meanwhile, downtown Palo Alto is pretty much closed down.
"The town is shuttered up," said Sherry Bijan, president of the Palo Alto Downtown Business and Professional Association. "This is very crippling. My district is shut down completely."
Some downtown area restaurants — Pluto's, Hahn's Hibachi and Gyro Gyros — are open even without power, she said. But they aren't taking credit cards.
"Actually it's pretty calm, given all of that," Bijan said. "There's kind of this little lull around, which is very kind of spooky."

marcus camby
Who can make the Nuggets better, and possibly the best? With apologies to Willy Wonka, the Camby Man can.
Tick . . . tick . . . tick. The NBA trading deadline is Thursday afternoon.
According to relentless rumor mongers, the Nuggets have made overtures to the Bulls about acquiring Tyrus Thomas and to the Pistons about a deal for Ben Wallace. Either would be a decent addition for a team in need of one more quality frontcourt player.
But the Camby Gambit is the most logical stratagem.
In mid-July 2008, the Nuggets sent Marcus Camby to the Clippers for next to nothing. Almost to the day 20 months later, the Nuggets should reclaim him for something — a run at the NBA championship.
At the time of the Camby x-change, Mark Warkentien, Nuggets vice president of basketball operations, gave his Checkers Speech: "The deal was made for one compelling reason, the trade exception. This provides us with greater flexibility, more options for potential deals with other teams . . . This is chess, not checkers."
And Camby was the pawn sacrificed.
The Nuggets dumped nearly $10 million to get under the league's salary cap, to avoid paying the luxury tax and putting that $10 million trade exception, valid until last November, in their pocket.
Warkentien, vilified for the move, was vindicated soon after as the Camby-less Nuggets — who brought in, on the cheap, Chris Ander- sen — won 55 games, two playoff series and reached the Western Conference finals. Warkentien was chosen the NBA executive of the year, primarily because he pulled off the Chauncey Billups deal that turned the franchise around.
Problem was, the Nuggets did miss Camby, and, more important, let the trade exception expire this past November without action.
The Nuggets still are short one big.
Andersen, a surprisingly significant role player in the Nuggets' success last season, was signed to a big contract (and got his likeness on Arby's glasses). Frankly, though, his play this season has been spotty and less than spectacular until last week. The other large men, Malik Allen and Johan Petro, are strictly bench squatters.
Through the all-star break, the Nuggets have been relishing another brilliant season with a 35-18 record and a two-game lead in the Northwest Division. They are 3-0 against the teams heavily favored to meet in the NBA Finals — the Lakers and the Cavaliers.
The Nuggets, who play at Cleveland on Thursday, can attach themselves to the Cavaliers' minds, just as they did to the Lakers in their recent victory in Los Angeles. The Lakers realize that the Nuggets won't be playoff pushovers.
Intact, the Nuggets can push up to the conference finals again, but there are issues.
The Nuggets' three starters up front — Melo, K-Mart and Nene — have been injury prone, in years past and this one.
And the Mavericks just traded for Caron Butler and Brendan Haywood to become legitimate contenders to overtake the Nuggets as the West's No. 2 seed. Certainly the slipping Trail Blazers and probably the Thunder and the Rockets will be trying to trade up before Thursday. The Suns are expected to trade down. (Amar'e Stoudemire, see ya.)
This is a chess match.
Your move, Warkentien.
Let's see if you can be a grandmaster once more, with assistance from Rex Chapman, the smart vice president of player personnel, and Bret Bearup, the powerful consultant. And looming in the background, of course, is owner E. Stanley Kroenke, who controls the Nugs and the Avs when he's not trying to take control of the Arsenal.
The Nuggets do have yet another $3.6 million exception, from the Stephen Hunter deal last summer to the Grizzlies. So they definitely can afford to obtain Wallace ($1.3 million) from the Pistons or Thomas ($4.7 million) from the Bulls without affecting the Kroenke Cap.
But would the Pistons or Bulls accept anything the Nuggets give in return, which won't be much? How about Anthony Carter ($1.3 million) and Joey Graham ($884,000), or a future No. 1 and Allen ($1.3 million)?
Or the Nuggets can get something of real value — Camby.
The Nuggets' triumvirate must figure, finesse and finagle to pull that off and make the numbers work. The Clippers want to unload Camby and his expiring $9.2 million contract. Camby understands George Karl's system, has played with Car- melo, Nene and Kenyon, and would love to come back to Denver — where he has close friends and connections to several local charities — and have a chance at being a contributor and a champion.
Everybody here knows what Marcus would provide — rebounds, blocked shots, the last line of defense, a few jumpers and veteran leadership.
A pawn leaves; a knight returns.
The Camby Man can, but can the Nuggets put him in The Can again? Can do and it could be checkmate.

floyd landis
]PARIS - A French judge has issued an international arrest warrant for U.S. cyclist Floyd Landis in connection with a case of data hacking at a doping laboratory, France's anti-doping chief said Monday.
Pierre Bordry told The Associated Press that French judge Thomas Cassuto is seeking to question Landis, a native of Farmersville, Lancaster County, about computer hacking dating back to September 2006 at the Chatenay-Malabry lab. Months earlier, the laboratory near Paris had uncovered abnormally elevated testosterone levels in Landis' samples collected in the run-up to his 2006 Tour de France victory.
Landis was stripped of his title and banned for two years.
The American cyclist unsuccessfully challenged the drug test results before an arbitration hearing in California -- claiming that computer files were mishandled and erased.
"Landis used the hacked files for his defense, that's how we discovered the whole scheme," Bordry said. "He wanted to show that the lab made mistakes in the handling of the tests."
The French judge, who is based in the Paris suburb of Nanterre, issued the warrant Jan. 28 because Landis did not respond to a summons in November, Bordry said.
Bordry added that Cassuto also issued an international warrant for Arnie Baker, a retired doctor and longtime Landis coach and adviser.

state of delaware state of emergency
SALISBURY - Roofs collapsed, drivers who have taken on the roads caused accidents or disabled vehicles and some residents were forced to seek refuge in shelters across Delmarva in the third major winter storm this year.
The snowstorm has covered the peninsula with another blanket of snow while the state agencies, counties and municipalities struggling to keep pace. A storm last weekend dumped 20 centimeters in some towns of the Lower Shore and follow another snow one day from a week before.
"This is the deepest snow I've seen since 1979," said Ray Stevens, a 42-year member of the Selbyville Volunteer Fire Company. "We had about 21 inches on the ground then.
The State Emergency
In Delaware, Governor Jack Markell said the state of emergency Wednesday morning, limiting travel to essential personnel.
And "because of poor visibility driving conditions dangerous," Delmarva Power Recovery suspension of electrical service and ordered his workers off the roads in Delaware in central and southern and eastern shore of Maryland noon Wednesday.
"This is not a day that joy riding or take a cruise," said Police Chief Ken McLaughlin Ocean View. "We just ask each of us a favor and stay off the roads."
Those who refused to obey the ban on travel to pay fines up to $ 500 or six months in prison, he said, and Delaware State Police said more than 20 accidents and over 30 vehicle down.
Stevens, also a former president of the Firefighters Association of Sussex County and the Association of the Delaware Volunteer Fireman's, said many roads across the county are not cleared Wednesday afternoon, making them difficult to navigate.
"I do not see equipment plow snow on the roads before the storm had passed, and the snow was so deep, so that even the plows had a job to get through it," he said. "It was very, very hard on the emergency equipment. Ambulances bogged down. "
Stevens said he plans to stay at home until the travel ban is lifted.
A driving ban has been issued in Salisbury at 2 pm, when Mayor Jim Ireton declared a state of emergency, with a blizzard warning from the National Weather Service. The town of Princess Anne has declared a state of emergency and the ban of lead in 6 hours

abc news 9 11 photos
NEW YORK — Newly released aerial photos of the World Trade Center terror attack capture the towers' dramatic collapse, from just after the first fiery plane strike to the apocalyptic dust clouds that spread over lower Manhattan and its harbor. The images were taken from a police helicopter – the only photographers allowed in the air space near the towers on Sept. 11, 2001. They were obtained by ABC News after it filed a Freedom of Information Act request last year with the National Institute of Standards and Technology, which investigated the collapse.
The chief curator of the planned Sept. 11 museum, which is compiling a digital archive of attack coverage, said the still images are "a phenomenal body of work" that show a new, wide-angle look at the towers' collapse and the gray dust clouds that shrouded the city afterward.
The photos are "absolutely core to understanding the visual phenomena of what was happening," said Jan Ramirez, chief curator at the National September 11 Memorial & Museum.
The images of the dust clouds rising as high as some downtown skyscrapers "are some of the most exceptional images in the world, I think, of this event," Ramirez said.
ABC said the NIST gave the network 2,779 pictures on nine CDs, saying some of the photographs had never been released before.
The network posted 12 photos this week on its Web site, all taken by ex-NYPD Aviation Unit Detective Greg Semendinger, who was first in the air in a search for survivors on the rooftop. He said he and his pilot watched the second plane hit the south tower from the helicopter.
"We didn't find one single person. It was surreal," he told The Associated Press on Wednesday. "There was no sound. No sound whatsoever, but the noise of the radio and the helicopter. I just kept taking pictures."
He took three rolls of film with his Minolta camera, plus 245 digital shots. Semendinger said he gave the digital images to the 9/11 Commission and believes those images were released by the NSIT. In the days after the attack, he e-mailed some of the photos to friends and several were posted on the Internet.

11 year old gives birth
FOX News - An 11-year-old girl in the Northeastrecently gave birth to a baby boy, according to the girl’s family.
“My daughter andbaby are fine, and the baby is absolutely beautiful,” stated the girl’s mother.
The girl and herfamily are not being named in order to protect the girl’s privacy.
According to Dr. Manny Alvarez, managing health editor of FoxNews.com, the girl’s age places her in significant dangers
“A very comprehensive approach to her care needs to be instituted early in her pregnancy,” Alvarez said.
A recent report by the Guttmacher Institute said U.S. teen pregnancies were up 3 percent in 2006.
The youngest documented case of a child pregnancy was in 1939 in Lima, Peru, Al-Khan said. Lina Medina was 6-years-old when she became pregnant and gave birth to a baby.
But of course, this case is not about a teenager, Dr. Abdulla Al-Khan, a leading high-risk obstetrician noted; it’s about a pre-teen, or child, who’s body is not built to carry a child yet. Read full story here
According to the Guttmacher Institute, nearly half of all 15-19 year-olds in the U.S. have had sex at least once.
In 2002, some 13 percent of never-married females aged 15-19 have had sex before the age of 15, according to the think tank.

Uproar Unsues Over NBC Black History Month Menu
Thanks to the Twitter skills of Roots star Questlove, who's the leader of Jimmy Fallon's "Late Night" band (and who has 1.3 million Twitter followers), the world has now seen this sign posted today in the NBC Universal cafeteria. Of course, the blogosphere is in overdrive about this menu. Within minutes of Questlove's tweet, the sign was taken down at NBC. Even comedian Wanda Sykes clowned NBC....on Jay Leno's late-night show on NBC. The black chef is defending the menu choices. Questlove apparently got some heat on him from NBC for tweeting a photo of the menu.
No chitlins? Smoked turkey, instead of hamhocks? What kind of buppie nonsense is that? No swine or fried catfish options? Jalapeno cornbread? And who drinks Aquafina with such a meal, instead of sweet tea or Kool-Aid? No macaroni & cheese or candied yams? And no dessert, like sweet potato pie or peach cobbler? Sniff, clearly someone who didn't grow up at all in the South. If they really wanted to go historical, where are the gizzards, fatback, or pig feet? Bwahahaha....
In all seriousness, I don't see what's the fuss over this menu. Although a few liberties have been taken, this NBC menu is for the most part standard soul food cuisine. This is what the ancestors would've called good eating, and certainly proper for a month that seeks to celebrate African-American traditions. Except for the black-eyed peas, I'd eat & drink everything on this menu. And the price is great, especially for New York. I'd much rather have this menu than the replacement menu that NBC put up after the brouhaha started.
Yes, they could've had a rotating menu that includes Caribbean and West African dishes (especially since about one in three blacks in New York City, where NBC is based, is of recent immigrant origin) in honor of Black History Month. And yes, this menu is eaten by Southerners of various races. However, it is most famously associated with African-American cuisine. Why are so many black folks acting ashamed of our culinary heritage (and I'm not talking about the folks who promote healthier versions of traditional recipes, as was somewhat done here), especially when it's a damn delicious one? There's some self-hatred going down here...
Full disclosure: I am a contributing writer to theGrio.com, which is an MSNBC-affiliated website and MSNBC is owned by NBC Universal.

diabetic ketoacidosis
Socialite Casey Johnson’s cause of death was released by the coroner today, she died after slipping in a diabetic coma after her body went into diabetic ketoacidosis.
Diabetic ketoacidosis is a state the body falls in when there is too little insulin in the body to break down sugar in the body and have it enter cells for energy. In this deprived state, the body starts to break down fat for energy, and the person can fall into a coma. Once in the comatose state, if left untreated, this condition can be fatal as it was for Casey.
Ketoacidosis is when your blood sugar levels are extremely high and insulin levels are low. Johnson, 30, was an heiress to the the Johnson & Johnson fortune and was the daughter of Woody Johnson, owner of the NFL team the Jets.
Johnson was a Hollywood socialite who was seeking fame but never found it. She battled drug and alcohol addictions for years. In 2007 Casey adopted a baby from Kazakhstan and named her “Ava”. However, by 2008 Casey’s mother took the baby away from her when she realized Casey hadn’t been caring properly for the child.
Casey seemed like a sweet girl who had lots of demons. Unfortunately, the fame she sought out found her only in death.

Christian Jones FSU Bound: Florida Prospect Opts For Florida State
Christian Jones, meet FSU. And Florida State, meet Christian Jones.
Jones, an outside linebacker and 27th best overall player according to ESPNU, signed with FSU today.
Jones' father and brother played at FSU so his choice was not a complete surprise.
An Orlando Sentinel columnist noted that Jones had no Florida Gators hat when he visited the Sentinel office on Tuesday.
The Lake Howell linebacker had previously been considering Florida, as well as Notre Dame, Oklahoma and Tennessee.
Christian Jones and his mother Tarralyn Jones -- yes, we've been mistakenly referring to her as Carralyn (sorry. Mrs. Jones) -- dropped by the Sentinel offices Tuesday morning in downtown Orlando for a photo shoot.
The highly sought Lake Howell linebacker was to bring hats from all the schools to which he had narrowed down his options. The hats he would bring were thought to be Florida State, Florida, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Alabama, Oklahoma and then maybe even Miami and UCF hats thrown in for good measure.
Well there was no UCF, no Miami ... and surprisingly, no Alabama. Surprising because he loved his visit to Tuscaloosa and his time spent with Nick Saban.
But those were NOT the biggest surprise. When he showed up with four hats and no Florida Gators lid, we were quick to assume the Gators had been eliminated. Not so, Jones said. He just simply didn't have a Gators hat.
Shouldn't he have a Gators hat if UF was seriously courting the Sentinel's No. 1-ranked player in the Central Florida Top 100, and No. 6 player in the Florida Top 100?
C'mon Urban, give the man a hat.
Well we chased down a small Gator football from an accomodating Gator fan in the office. Not quite a hat, but representation, nonetheless.
So that's why there is a small Gators football in the photo on the front page of today's Orlando Sentinel, as well as this Sunshine State Recruiting Web site.
Does that mean Jones has eliminated the Gators? Hmm, your guess is as good as ours.

Keenan Allen: Keenan Allen Announcement
Keenan Allen: Keenan Allen Announcement – Everybody wants to know that what Keenan Allen has announced about himself and what to be announced, is there something about Cal or Chris McCain? . According to CalSportsDigest.com The press conference for safety Allen and Chris McCain went on without expected third participant Gabe King, and with the first two announcing for Cal.
The recruitment of ESPNU 150 athlete Keenan Allen (Greensboro, N.C./Northern Guilford) certainly has taken a lot of twists and turns down the stretch. What appeared to be a solid commitment to Alabama as recently as a couple of weeks ago, now appears to be anything but.
Sporting News’ No. 58 prospect, DE Gabe King, and No. 70 prospect, DB Keenan Allen, both signed with Cal this morning. Allen had been an Alabama commitment since November, but when his brother, Buffalo sophomore quarterback Zach Maynard, transferred and was on the market, Allen wanted to play with his brother. Alabama wouldn’t offer Maynard, so Allen dropped his pledge to the Crimson Tide.
In the week leading up to National Signing Day, word began to get out that Allen was considering Clemson. Last weekend, he reportedly visited California with his half-brother, quarterback Zach Maynard, who is transferring from the University of Buffalo.
Penn State was even being mentioned as a possible destination for Allen, the nation’s top-rated safety according to recruiting analysts for Scout.com and Rivals.com.
In this year’s recruiting class alone, Alabama is bringing in two four-star safeties, in-state prospects Jarrick Williams and Nick Perry. The Tide also snagged five-star cornerback DeMarcus Milliner, who at about 6-2 has a 50-50 chance of moving to free safety, according to Every.

Where s George
ST. GEORGE — St. George’s seventh yearly Winter Bird Festival force wrap up Sunday with excursions to Zion nationalized recreational area and the Parowan Gap area that are designed to appeal a broad variety of birders. The four-day festival incorporated field trips to watch and identify Southern Utah’s bird species, plus lectures on everything from bird-watching equipment to how birds think and they territory they live in.
“This trip is to Toquerville, Grafton and Springdale,” said Kristine Crandall, who moved to St. George six weeks previously from Colorado, as she waited on behalf of an excursion to depart Saturday morning from Tonaquint recreational area. “I’m only this minute starting to really discover the area and this is a impressive way.”
Dawn Eide-Albrecht, one of the festival’s volunteers, assumed some of the countryside trips, such as the Zion excursion, required pre-registration and limited the amount of participants because of the special locations.
“All of the pre-registered field trips … have been maxed out for at least two to three weeks,” she said.
Kurt and patrice Marcks alleged they made the six-hour drive from Riverside, Calif., after learning about the festival online.
“It’s fun to go someplace unique to go birding,” Patrice said as her spouse unloaded equipment from the car for his photography field trip.

Swift justice: Doctor`s murderer convicted, fast
The man who shot and killed Dr George Tiller has been named as Scott Roeder. The Doctor was shot and killed while he was attending his Whichita church. The killer Scot Roeder protrayed himself as a holy warrior, bent on saving the lives of the unborn.
Dr George Tiller on the other hand was a well known provider of abortions in Kansas and was constantly harassed and threatened. The U.S Supreme Court ruled almost 40 years ago that women had the right to a safe and legal abortion. This is an about-face from years of back alley abortionists, the secret "old wives tales" inspired poisonings and self mutilation using sharp objects.
Woman have emerged from this nightmare thanks to the court who saw it as a private matter. To be honest in my opinion and in most others its between a woman, her doctor, her god, and her moral compass. For those who still rail about abortions there are alternatives: Abortion will never disappear. It can be safe and legal for those who choose it - or unsafe and illegal.
These are the alternatives. The law of the land is clear on these issues. But the dander to those men and women who provide this legal service is also clear. In 1993, Dr David Gunn was murdered. This Florida doctor was pictured on "wanted" posters by Operation Rescue. Dr John Britton and a colleague were shot and killed by a minister in Florida the next year. Two clinic secretaries were murdered in Massachusetts in 1994. An off-duty police officer, working security at an abortion clinc in 1998 in Alabama was murdered when the facility was bombed.
Most people who wanted to protect a woman's rights to choose were justifiably alarmed by the Dr Tiller case. Tiller had been shot but survived in 1993. Also he survived a clinic bombing in 1996. He had been dubbed the "Baby Killer". Randal Terry Of Operation Rescue called him a "mass murderer" after his death.
But thankfully today we live in a land of laws. These laws extend to women, and those laws protect their right to choose a safe and legal type of abortion. Murder, even by a holy warrior, is still illegal. The jury spent just 37 minutes discussing Roeder's murder of Dr. Tiller.
